  • Hi friends,

When Brainchild began there was a much different plan for it. Everything seemed to be in place to give Brainchild the power to keep up with some of the industries leading brands. However, when the smoke finally cleared I realized that that assumption couldn't have been farther from the truth.

Having my own brand was always just an idea for me, and I knew that more then likely that that is what it would stay. So when it actually came to fruition, I was just going through the motions with a serious lack of quality guidance. Which resulted in a uncomfortable amount of unnecessary setbacks and careless decision making. So, I reevaluated my purpose with the brand, and the idea of being stressed out and anxious all the time trying to get a new brand up to speed with the industry really didnt get me stoked to do it anymore. I try to limit those types of emotions when it comes to anything to do with skateboarding. I need skateboarding, and my art stuff, to be an enjoyable outlet without any added mental anguish.

So I am doing this thing small, I will be doing limited runs of boards and other things, I will be signing the tops of every board and donating a portion of the proceed from everything Brainchild sells to charities.

The world is a tough place to live these days, especially without guidance or a place you can turn to talk to someone about what's weighing you down. I want Brainchild to be a community, I want to try and use Brainchild and my skateboarding to assist in possibly  helping bring awareness to a variety of things, places people could potentially for guidance in their own lives if they are in search of it,  As we grow this thing, links to the donated charities can be seen on the website. Friends, lets help each other, we are all dealing with this stuff together,  I want to skate with all you friends until we can't anymore

Every board will be signed and numbered

"Make it better. Turn up the good, turn down the suck.

 Turn down the suck knob.

I think you got the suck knob cranked to ten Ferrel".
